How to Watch Frozen Fever Online

Disney's Frozen has spawned a child obsession unlike any other in recent memory. Now, you can relive your favorite moments from the movie in this all-new animated short!

It's Anna's birthday, and Queen Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever. But when Elsa catches a cold, her icy powers put more than just the party at risk.

Plot Summary

Almost seven minutes long, the short film "Frozen Fever" reunites the team behind Disney's smash-hit animated feature Frozen for an update on what the kingdom of Arendelle has been up to since Elsa's ice thawed. It's a delightful little treat and one of the best shorts of 2015.

On Anna's first birthday after reuniting following years of separation, Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the most amazing party ever. But just as things are starting to look up, Elsa catches a cold that sends her icy powers rushing through the air.

When she sneezes, Elsa unwittingly produces a group of "Snowgies," little snow-babies who are determined to eat all of Anna's cake and take over the party. As Elsa tries to contain them, Kristoff and Anna join in a fun-filled scavenger hunt, led by the princess's birthday gift.

The scavenger hunt is a blast, a chance to enjoy everything that the sisters have missed together while shut away in their castle. They ride their bicycle through the halls, eat ice cream, and climb towers to get to every last detail of their celebration.

It's a lot of fun and the short features an original tune, "Making Today a Perfect Day," that is sure to be a staple at any Frozen fan's birthday party. The movie is available to watch online with subs on Google Play Movies, Hotstar, YouTube, and Justdial Movies.

With a cast that includes Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad (among others), the short does an excellent job of recreating many of the characters from Frozen. It's a great way to spend a few minutes with the beloved characters, though it does lack some of the more elaborate character moments from the original.

But the fun is still very much there, especially when Anna and Elsa's friendship resurfaces. In fact, Anna's a little too happy to see her sister back, and it's only when Elsa takes her out for a bike ride that she starts to realize just how much she misses Anna.

While the short is not nearly as good as the original, it's a fun and charming addition to Disney's Frozen library, and an essential addition to any Frozen fan's viewing collection. If you're planning to see the live-action Cinderella this weekend, then it's worth seeing "Frozen Fever" as a pre-show.

Cast & Crew

A slew of Disney stars from the original Frozen take center stage in this computer animated short. A few of the more notable alums include Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, who all voice the film’s eponymous characters.

The main objective of the short is to introduce fans of Disney’s awe-inspiring 2013 film to Elsa and Anna’s otherworldly powers of mind and body. The resulting short is a musical and visual delight.

From the ice princess to the lovable snowman, the film is filled with magic and wonder. The most memorable moment occurs when a frozen Olaf (yes, that’s his name) shows up on the scene for an impromptu dance with Anna. The result is one happy frozen couple, a moment that isn’t soon forgotten.

The short is no slouch, and in fact it is a worthy successor to the 2013 movie that changed everything. It has all the hallmarks of a Frozen sequel: a lot of singing, a lot of dancing and a lot of laughs. As a bonus, it features the aforementioned Olaf as well as a few of his fellow human siblings. The aforementioned is a rare occurrence in the Disney franchise, as Olaf has been in short supply since the release of Frozen.
